NRA Personal Protection

This is an introductory course on the subjects of personal protection, family safety, and disaster readiness.

Who should take this course?

Anyone with an interest in protecting themselves from criminal attacks and natural disasters.  An effective emergency response plan requires that everyone affected by the event understands the plan.  To help create that understanding, this course was specifically designed to be taught to your entire family or business.

Course Requirements

Students must be 18 years of age or older.  Those under the age of 18 will require a signed consent form from their parent or guardian.  State issued identification is required to verify age.  For family classes, parents must determine if their children are mature enough to understand the concepts and to handle a pistol.  The instructor reserves the right to exclude children from the training if they are disruptive or, in the instructor’s opinion, not able to safely complete the shooting course of fire.

Students are to bring their own pistol.  If you do not have a pistol, then a rental pistol may be available for an additional fee.

200 rounds of ammunition.  Reloads and hand loaded ammo are not permitted.
